After confirming that you wont have to wear a silly hat like the graduates, you agree to deliver the graduation speech at your alma mater. What are the first three and the last three sentences of your address?
Guidelines: All responses should be less than 200 words. When you are done, please post your response in the comments section if you are so inclined. If you do so, please include your name and understand the expectation that your response should easily fit within PG-13 boundaries.

Cheating a bit here as I’ve been responsible for almost 20 years of graduation addresses:
Class of 2020, from your years of studying geography here you know that a map is an illusion, a metaphor for an enormously complex set of physical variables, and when we’ve asked you to study maps, draw them, and finally map the world from memory, our goal was to immerse you in the infinite interrelationships between the physical world and human activity.
__________________________________________________________________________
Most people think that the purpose of maps is to get from one place to another, but the highest use for a map is exploration and that’s what a good education should be: a series of maps, frameworks that you can use to understand the physical world, your mind, the minds of others, a way to get lost on purpose. And that’s my final message to you, Class of 2020: get lost.
